3rd Conference on Sustainable Supply Chains

The 3rd Conference on Sustainable Supply Chains (SustSC 2020) will take place in Lisbon this year, from the 23rd to the 25th July 2020. The conference is organized by the EURO Working Group (EWG) on Sustainable Supply Chains in cooperation with OpLog group, and is sponsored by the Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO).

The conference will be held at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in the centre of Lisbon, just 20 minutes away from Lisbon airport, surrounded by some of the most beautiful gardens in Lisbon.

The conference’s theme is “Sustainable Supply Chains in the Digital Era”, giving an opportunity to present and the discuss the state-of-the-art of sustainable supply chain in this challenging and rapidly changing era. There will be two keynote speakers: Marc Reinmann and Pedro Lago. Marc Reimann will give an academic perspective on the influence of proprietary parts on closed-loop supply chains. Pedro Lago will provide with an industrial view, regarding the impact of sustainability on the food retail sector.

The abstract submission deadline is the 30th April 2020.
